That's absolutely fine. Professional genealogists are experienced in working with whatever information you have. Even if you only have a few names and approximate dates, they can start from there and piece together your family tree.
It does happen - the records you need may have been lost, destroyed, or never existed in the first place! Your genealogist will still provide a report explaining what was searched and, where possible, suggest different approaches or records.
Absolutely - we work with clients worldwide. If your ancestors came from England, Wales, or Scotland, our genealogists can access UK archives and records on your behalf and share findings digitally.
Absolutely! Our professional genealogists can review what you've found, verify its accuracy, and tackle any obstacles in your path. Just share your existing research with your matched genealogist so they don't duplicate work you've already done.
We sometimes receive requests for research that's outside our current scope - for example, specialised topics or regions we don't currently cover. If this is the case, we'll let you know promptly and suggest alternative resources or specialists who might be able to help.
